Bop Street Records is a secret burial place (if you don't know about it)  for discarded vinyl waiting to be reborn in your possession. It's true, they have a relaltive handful of CDs and DVDs, but this place is stacked mainly with records—nearly 750,000, covering all genres. If you're into digging, this is the place for you. Given the amount of records here, Bop Street is an extremely organized store with a devoted staff. If you can't find anything, ask for Brittany, who's usually there. They even have interns working in exchange for store credit!

Colby S., who supplied the photos shown here, sums it up perfectly: "Bop Street is an icon, a hidden landmark...an underground culture if you will. Twenty-five years on, this place has eclectic charm, a true appreciation for music. At 5,000 square feet and over 750,000 records you'll be amazed at the loyalty Dave Voorhees (the owner) has given to his obsession. Walking out of the store, I was inspired to say the least...maybe that old turn table in Uncle Arnie's garage may just have a second go...maybe."
