We sat down with The Antlers’ Michael Lerner, the band’s drummer, before their Saturday afternoon set at Sasquatch! Music Festival in May 2011. Drink in hand, he discussed the process of recording their recently released Burst Apart and how it compares to their last album, his first impressions of the Gorge Amphitheater, and how referencing Radiohead is redundant.
